Context / Issue

A group of senior leaders, each running successful but distinct regional graduate programmes, saw an opportunity to learn from one another and build greater global alignment. While each programme had been developed locally, graduates ultimately moved across regions, highlighting the potential to combine the best of local innovation with a shared global standard.

The aim was to create a more consistent graduate experience and to increase impact across the organisation, while strengthening collaboration among previously disconnected teams.

Our Approach

We brought senior leaders together virtually over five months through a series of focused ‘pathfinder’ sessions. These sessions helped to build trust, aligned on purpose, and shared best practice: all at pace and almost entirely online. We facilitated honest discussions on strengths and gaps, co-created a future graduate programme blending global consistency with local strengths, and incorporated the voice of thirty-plus graduates to ground the work in lived experience.

Benefits Realised

With our help the pathfinder team developed an aligned global graduate approach with a clear delivery roadmap, ready to share with executive leaders. We achieved strong engagement and momentum despite a fully virtual format. Our process promoted trust and goodwill across regions, replacing siloed efforts with collaborative energy. Leaders and graduates alike reported increased clarity, connection, and belief in the proposed model.
