Context / Issue
A function comprising 120 senior leaders and managers was seeking stronger cross-team connection, clearer collective focus, and space to address big-picture challenges. While previous conferences had created moments of energy, the impact had often been short-lived.
With stretched internal facilitation capacity, there was an appetite for a more engaging and strategic approach — one that could build momentum, spark collaboration across silos, and generate insight that would stick. The opportunity was to design something different: purposeful, co-owned, and built for lasting value.
Our Approach
We worked closely with a small, cross-functional core team to shape the event around meaningful outcomes, not just a packed agenda. By aligning early with senior leaders and securing their visible support, we built confidence in the process and direction.
The day itself was highly participative — mixing groups in the morning to spark conversation and insight, then shifting to intact teams in the afternoon to dig into pressing local challenges.
We used live visual capture to build momentum and create a shared sense of progress. Throughout, our facilitation created space for reflection, challenge, and genuine connection, while behind the scenes we held the structure firmly to ensure flow, focus and clear outputs and next steps.
