Adaptive Resilience
You’re in good company. Many teams are investing time and effort into resilience — to stay energised, to bounce back faster, to keep going through tough times, and perhaps to get ready for the next big change.
But here’s the thing. Resilience rarely sticks without addressing some tough questions in advance, and without intentional follow-through.
If your efforts to date haven’t had the impact you’d hoped for, here are three questions that, when addressed, should help you to make progress:
Why resilience, why now? Is it just about individual learning? Or do you want it to fuel wider engagement, collaboration and performance? Get participants and managers involved in this conversation.
How do leaders and managers help or hinder? Knowing their current impact, for example on engagement, is the first step towards evolving their role post workshop.
What’s the post workshop infrastructure? Consider how you’ll support skill practice, reinforce target behaviours, and capture and share learning to keep momentum going. This key work doesn’t happen by itself — it needs an owner.
We run resilience events that are immersive, engaging, and designed to land and sustain resilience in the workplace.
Example participant insight:
“I’ve just discovered I don’t catastrophise! It’s amazing how others respond so differently to this stuff.”
Example feedback:
“Most talked about and impactful workshop I’ve experienced — folks are still buzzing, and practicing, 12 months on.”
If you're already doing resilience work and it’s gaining traction, keep going! Consider using the questions above to help deepen the impact.
If you're just starting out or want to enhance what you are doing with more impact, we’d love to help. Post a comment with your experience or questions. And feel free to connect.
